Power of prayer

We have been experiencing some of the worst the worst days in America’s history.  I want to wish the families of the victims my prayers, and I hope that God will see you through this tragedy.  I know that you are really hurting, but please pray for strength because he is the only one who will see you through.   That is why I did decide to talk about prayer.  Prayer is a way to communicate with God.  If you want to build a personal relationship with God, you have to pray.  Even if things are not going great for you, you need to pray.   This will not stop the bad from happening, but it will help us to  stay grounded during trouble.  Keep your hands in God’s hand and you will be alright.  Here are some verses to help us understand how prayer has power.

And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Matthew 21:22

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

1 John 5:14

“If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John 14:14.

Remember Jesus also said “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Mathew 28:18.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Jeremiah 33:3

So we all will experience some struggles in life, but we can call upon him, and he will hear and answer our prayers.  God always keeps his promises. This is one reason it is important to pray, and to believe in the power of prayer.  We are experiencing the worst of times, but God is good all the time, so talk to him every chance that you get.  He will help you.
