A group of concern citizens protested at the North Charleston Detention center. Former officer Michael Slager was charged in the shooting death for an African American motorist. He was released on bond until his trial, and he will be on house arrest.   The judge released Slager out on a 500,000 dollars bond. Many protesters are upset because of his release. I know some people who have lesser charges, and did not get out on bond. You are innocent until proven guilty, but this officer killed an unarmed man. Do you think that it is right for this former police officer be released?

My BFF, Catherine Gray, sent these pictures. She has always stood up for civil rights, and she has been involved in community groups who help protect civil rights.
