Herbs that helps to control emotions (Proverbs 15:17)

I never thought that my body has so much to do with my emotional health.  Since I am over 50,  I am going through menopause and my emotions have been out of control.   Anger management means that we have to balance our mind, body, and souls.  The body has to have the right nutrients and foods to help us balance our emotions.  Herbs are a great way to keep your body in balance.  Here are some herbal recipes and uses to help control your emotions.

Teas

Rosemary, sage, lemon balm, and other mints are great herbs for emotion control.  I suggest that you use these herbs in a tea with honey.  Teas are easy to use and you can drink them any time.

Rosemary

Some say that rosemary rejuvenates the mind.  Just the smell of rosemary perks your senses.  This is because rosemary enhances the cell’s intake of oxygen, which aid in cerebral function.

Lemon balm

This herb is good for anxiety, insomnia, mental decline, and hyperactivity.   This herb is known to calm your nerves.  It is a smoothing plant that is used in teas, baths, and potpourris.  Flowers can be white yellow or pale blue.  The herb can clean wombs, insect bites and used a sedative.

Mints

The scent of all the mints helps calm nerves.  So get your tea bags or baskets and drink yourself calm.  Mints can be eaten, used in oils, teas, and alcoholic drink.  There are different kinds of mints like peppermint, chocolate mint, and spearmint.  Mints have been used for centuries for calming nerves

Sage

Sage means healthy in Latin.  In the middle ages, sage was used to treat liver disease,  fevers, and epilepsy.   Anything that can helps with epilepsy can help with controlling emotions.  Sage can be used in teas and as a seasoning.

  1. Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. Calvin Coolidge Brilliant persistence rewarded with some stunning images.. I take my hat off to you, Andy.
