Goals

During this time of year, most people are looking at their lives and evaluating how they can do better.  If we look at our faults with a spiritual mind, we will do what God wants us to do.  We do need to start planning ways to do better, but make sure that God approves our plans.   Proverbs 16 can be used as a guide on how we should make plans according to God’s will.

God’s Approval

Proverbs 16 tells us that we should make sure that our plans are approving to God.   We have to remember that God is everything and controls everything.  We will be successful if we follow his will and commit to him.  He can use our shortcomings and wrongdoings to helps us reach our goals, so do not worry about falling short of our plans.  God will work everything out for us.

Do not think about money

The author of this chapter talks about Kings because they were regarded highly.  He wants us to know that we should not let money be our motives for money control our thoughts.  Money makes us do crazy things, so we have to make sure that we stay honest, humble, and faithful in everything that we do.

Don’t get discouraged

Our results might not be what we want them to be, but the results will be in our best interest.  We have to endure some storms to succeed.  Stand firm on God’s promises and you will be victorious.  Life is a process of events, so be patient.  Understanding this process will help us to enjoy, love, and grow.  Pride makes us forget about what is important, so don’t let our egos get the best of us.

You will be more winner if you pray before you plan.
