Today we celebrate a risen savior. He hung on the cross, but he was still able to change the world? He was not a Politian or high priest. He was poor and a slave so how did he do it? During the Coronavirus Pandemic, people are upset because they are inconvenienced. We have to keep the faith like Jesus. He was crucified, but he was able to make positive changes and so can we.
We are practicing patience.
Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. If I would have sat still, I would be a wealthy woman. I would have enjoyed the little things in life and I would enjoy the loved ones that have gone before me. Patience is important for our spiritual growth. During the quarantine, do something that you are passionate about and believe that God will see us through.
We can spend time with our family.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. Galatians 5:13. It is a great time to play with your children. If you live with your parents, spend some time listening to them and making them smile. The Coronavirus can affect anyone, so enjoy your family.
We can pamper ourselves.
I cannot stress how important it is for us to get enough sleep and exercise. We do not have to drive to work, so we can use that time to exercise or take a nap. Prov13:4. The lazy person craves, yet receives nothing, but the desires of the diligent are satisfied. Now you have the time, so it is no excuses.
Use the Coronavirus quarantine to your advantage by finding positive ways to spend your time.
