Accept His Grace

  • Ephesians 2: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.   We are saved through grace not by  our works.  When you feel that you have to do more to get God’s love, stop.   The author of Ephesians is Paul.  He was in Ephesus.  Ephesus was the most important cities in western Asia Minor.  This is now Turkey.  Paul wrote these letters to let his readers know that God’s Blessings are remarkable.  He wanted everyone to know that God’s Grace and mercy is  all  we have to it is accept it.  Stop trying to be what you think God’s want you to be.  You have to accept your self as you are.  He does, so why can’t you?
  •  We cannot earn God’s grace, so stop.  We are just setting ourselves up for a fall.  We are going to fail.  The Devil will come and remind us of our weakness.  We will try to pleas God again which we fail again and again and again.  The only way to defeat the Devil is to track our blessings.
