Day Fourteen –Patience
- Mind- the Decision– This plan is design to enhance your life. You have to make a decision to follow through. One thing that will hinder you from finishing the plan is being too anxious. We have to learn patience. I have learned through the years that some people are born with patience and some are not. I am not, so I have to practice it every day. I fail some days, but I win some days. You have to put patience in your Journal. You have to pay close attention to your emotions, and remember you have to be patient. Hay (1994) wrote, “All is well. I have everything I need.” I want you to meditate on this sentence today. If you have food to eat, a place to sleep, and you are healthily, all is well. If you have decided to change your life, change it, but remember it is not going to be easy.
- Body – Drink 8 cups of water and exercise for 15 to 30 minutes. I want you to record your weight today. I waited because if you we would have weighed in on the first day we would have been anxious for results. This is a life choice. You are going to have to do this every day. I also want you to record the weight that you want to lose and the time that you would allow yourself to lose the weight. My start date is January 1, 2017. I want to lose 20 pounds, and I am giving myself four months to do it. That means that I have to lose 5 pounds a month. I am not over excreting myself. If I lose more than 20 pounds, I will feel good. This is realistic goal that I can obtain without becoming anxious. Please make some realistic goals in your journal. I want you to continue to research on howare you going to get some extra fiber in your body. I also want you to do another green smoothie today. Eat some healthy snacks.
- Soul – Patience- Everyone knows how important patience is to believers. So I am going to give you several Bible verses to study and that will help you practice patience. Read: James 1:2-8, Proverbs 19:11, Proverbs 25:15, Romans 2:4, and Hebrews 6:12, and James 5:7. Patience is a virtue.
