Day Nineteen – Dealing with Rejection or Haters
- Mind- You are looking and feeling better every day. After 18 days of transforming your life, you are acting differently. It is hard not to act differently because you are feeling great. You have to keep a level head and try not to become concede. You can stay confident. You do not want pride to set in because everyone is not going to have the same opinion of the new you, so you will get the rejection from others. The worst kind of rejection comes from haters. You have to be aware of everything that you do or say. When someone says something mean to you, listen without being judgmental. Look at your body posture when you are faced with rejction. You also need to be aware of your breathing, so you can stop your heart from racing. You also need to think of positive words to say to get your point across. If the person becomes irate, make an exit plan. Do not run. Just let the person knows that you will not talk about this anymore and you are leaving. Do not roll your neck or eyes. Stand firm and show no fear because you have came a long way and you are not stopping now. You should practice self control when you are upset. This will help you control your blood pressure, heart rate, and emotions. This will be a great topic for you to write about in your journal. Remember practice is perfect, so practice how you deal with rejection. Do not let this one moment stop you for accomplishing your goals.
