Day Nine – Treat Yourself
- Mind- Self Love- Treat yourself to something that you like. It is Friday and if you just got paid, go out and do something nice for yourself. It could be a pedicure, manicure, spa treatment, some new clothes or anything. I am off on Fridays, so I can get out of the bed late. This is a treat for me. While I was lying in bed, I watched Joyce Meyers. She is one of my favorites because she can motivate me when I am feeling down. She spoke of how a man tried to take a butterfly out of its cocoon. He thought he was helping, but the butterfly died. We feel that we need to be rescued because life get’s hard, but we need to experience joy and pain. Once we go though our process, we will gain our wings just like the butterfly. This is why it is important for us to treat ourselves at least once a week. Today is about treating ourselves because we deserve it. We are a work in progress, so during the struggle you need some happiness. Thanks Joyce. I needed that
- Body – Drink 8 cups of water and Exercise for 15 to 30 minutes. I want you to go shopping today for some vitamin supplements. You need A, B, C, D, and iron. Your body is about to start changing and in this weather, you might get sick. I want you to write in journal how you are feeling. I mean physically and mentally. You can treat yourself out for dinner because you have earned it.
- Soul – My favorite verses in the Bible are the Beatitudes. I read Matthew 4 through 6. This is a section where Jesus taught. He is a great teacher and he will help us keep our attitudes positive. Read and Reflect.
- Go to bed early and turn off the lights and Television
